Värmland is known for its pristine nature and its dry climate. With the outstretched woods, mountains and contiguous lakes, Värmland is not only an area where you can enjoy the silence of nature, but it also offers plenty of exciting and challenging activities. To come face to face with a moose is not unusual and the more experienced tracker can even find traces of wolves, bears and lynxes.
Värmland gives the opportunity to relish art, culture, and a historic atmosphere. With its numerous dance and music festivals, art exhibitions, museums, and “herrgårdar”, it is definitely an area worth visiting. Every season has its own charm, whether it is the lupines and bonfires in the spring, the beautiful long summer days and festivities in the summer, the blueberries and mushrooms in the autumn, or the snow covered mountains and lakes in the winter, Värmland has something for everyone!
If you, just like us, would like to enjoy the rich culture and fantastic nature that Värmland has to offer, then we have got five different types of holiday houses available for renting in this marvelous area (if required, we also rent out fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, and mountain bikes). We are also able to help you with the booking of moose and beaver safaris, walking, mountain bike and canoe tours or even a rafting expedition on the river Klarälven.
We would love to welcome you to our beautiful Värmland!
