Within 10 kilometers (6.5 miles) from the facilities in Hagfors you will find this Swedish log cabin in the middle of the woods, in the heart of Värmland. With a little bit of luck you might even see a moose outside your window!
Within about 5 kilometers (3miles) from the house you will find a wonderful nature reserve where you can spot the impressive Tawny and beautiful grouse. People with a practiced eye might even be able to see wolf or perhaps bear tracks.
Around the house you will find several lakes within walking distance, which are perfect for canoeing or fishing trips (we can arrange for a rowing boat or canoe to be ready for you). From right outside your holiday house you can take the most amazing bicycle or walking tours.
HOLIDAY HOUSE
The house has been completely renovated with some of its original details preserved, like for example the (still usable) wood burning stove. The house is equipped for 6 people. It has geothermal heating, but also a very cozy “kakelugn”, which is an original wood stove.
The holiday house has 2 bedrooms which are fully equipped; the first bedroom is equipped with a double bed, whereas the second bedroom is provided with 4 single beds (1 bunkbed). In the laundry room you will find a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Besides the bathroom on the ground floor, the house also has a second toilet with sink on the top floor. Next to the mainhouse is also a guesthouse for 2 people.
The big garden has an area of more than 4000 square meter, is equipped with garden furniture, a shed, a garage, and an old “härbre” (storehouse). This is directly followed by the immense forest that starts behind the house. Of course there is an outdoor fireplace! An ideal place for nature lovers who also love comfort and freedom. Make campfires in the evening with wood from your own forest!
